Application Process - Getting Started
Steps to Getting Started on your Study Abroad experience:
1.) Fill out our general intake form Initial Intake Form.pdf. Once you have completed the form you can send it to the study abroad office by email at studyabroad@wou.edu or dropping it by Maaske Hall, we are located on the first floor.
2.) After you have turned in your intake form you will want to begin searching for programs of interest. You can do so here Programs > Map Search > Office of Study Abroad (terradotta.com). We advise that you pick at least two programs of interest.
3.) You will then be contacted by a study abroad advisor to setup an initial advising appointment who will explain the WOU process to you and answer any of your questions.
4.) After your initial advising appointment you will be advised to setup a profile in our Terra Dotta database https://wou-sa.terradotta.com/index.cfm?FuseAction=Security.AngLogin . You will then search for your program of interest and add it to your profile. You will want to notify your advisor once the program has been added so that they can guide you on further steps.
