Program Information:
Our Semester in Limerick program is housed at the University of Limerick, which offers state-of-the art facilities, great housing, and classes with Irish students so you can immerse yourself in the local culture. Explore castles, stroll along the Shannon River, and learn the fiddle during your semester abroad in Ireland!  You will experience:

Calm city with a fun up-and-coming riverfront scene – Limerick, although laid-back with a small-town feel, is treasured by its visitors for the city's history, beautiful castles, and diverse population. Walk the streets of Limerick and get a real taste of Irish culture. 

World-class university – Semester in Limerick is based at the University of Limerick, a progressive new university where you can take courses in diverse fields for your major or elective requirements.

Full-tilt rugby culture – If you are a hardcore rugby fan, this program is for you. You can take classes during the fall semester and take part in the on-campus rugby team and rugby-related events throughout the season.

Volunteer options - Earn the President's Volunteer Award from the University of Limerick by volunteering in the local community.
