Program Description:
Ireland yay

Experience the holiday season in two unique cities. Divided not just by the Irish Sea, but by a long history of conquest and rebellion, as well as settlement and cultural intermarriage; each city tells its own distinct story. Both are long time seats of government, arts, and business in their own countries, with ties stretching out across the world.

Includes several class-specific activities plus a day trip to such locations as Bath, Stonehenge & Salisbury, Canterbury & Dover, or Stratford & Warwick in England, and a day trip to Glendalough and Powerscourt in Ireland. Program participants reside in local hotels. Program includes group flight from London to Dublin.


Accommodation in London
While in London, participants will reside at the Courthouse Hotel, located in central London within walking distance of transportation and many attractions. The Courthouse is situated in the heart of London’s bustling shopping and theatre district. A stone’s throw from Liberty’s and the shopping paradise of Bond Street, Regent Street and Carnaby Street, the hotel is in a prime location. Situated in an old courthouse, the Grade II listed building retains much of the splendor of the original. From the internationally known Selfridges department store and Bond Street with its Couture boutiques to the London Palladium, famous for its great musical and theatrical performances, you are in the center of everything.Nearby places of interest are the Royal Opera House, Selfridges, London Palladium, Covent Garden, Berwick Street Market, Soho Theatre, Chinatown and Bond Street designer boutiques.

A full English buffet breakfast is included each morning, with service from 7 – 10:30 AM on weekdays and 7 – 11:00 AM on weekends plus January 1. Lunch and evening meals are at the participant’s expense.

Accommodation in Dublin
In Dublin, you will reside at the O’Callaghan Davenport Hotel, which offers modern 4-star accommodation located in Dublin city centre. Originally a church dating back to 1863, it still boasts its magnificent 18-century Italianate facade. The hotel is just off Merrion Square and is within easy walking distance of the National Gallery and Trinity College.

A full Irish buffet breakfast is included each morning. Lunch and evening meals are at the participant’s expense.cities
